Acrilyka by Valerictorian

I'm living on borrowed time, and because of that,
everyday is a miracle.

In this lifetime, I live to tell a story.

I owe you,
when
I don't share what I know.

I write to live.
My love for words
created
a series of
obsessive compulsive behaviours -

word collecting,
word crafting,
word shaping,
typing and handwriting experimenting.

ACRILYKA by Valerictorian is a personal journal.
Visit www.valerictorian.blogspot.com
where I catalogue daily lessons drawn from personal encounters and a voracious appetite for reading.

monotony and mediocrity
bore me to the bones

creativity and art,
wisdom and truth,
results and breakthroughs,
Bach and Tchaikovsky
awaken my soul

clean food,
iced bitter coffee and
cold and deodorised air helps me live longer

all sorts of people colour up my world.

  • Love Living.

For past seven years, every day I wake up to is a miracle.
I could have been six feet under had it not been that one encounter that saved me from what could have been an eternal rut to eternal hope, love and faith to live.
Gratefulness has carried me through each day since.
Everyday, I remind myself about my turning point.
Being thankful helps me cherish and make each day count.
Count for who? Count for what?
I count it for those who seek the love, hope and faith I’ve asked and received.
Most of all, I count it for the Giver of the love, hope and faith I, at that very moment, crawled to, cried out and asked for.
    Seven years on, I still live in the same world but my life has been ever transforming since;
    day by day.
I get to enjoy a new life.
New, because a work has been done in me ever since that moment.
It’s still continuing its process in me.
And it’ll keep on going to the day of completion - my last day on earth.
I have no idea what tomorrow brings.
But I am already sure what my last moment on earth would be -
full of hope, love and faith
    to who I’ll meet and
where’ll I’ll be the very next moment.
Perfection, joy and victory that last forever.
    For now, I enjoyed today
and I choose to enjoy tomorrow.
    I love living!
